A recent addition has been a Civil War Re-enactment at Ivan K. Hill Park. On Friday of Mule Day Weekend, school groups are invited for a living history demonstration. Re-enactors from across the Southeast act out the fictional "Skirmish at Luxapalilla" on Mule Day Saturday and again on Mule Day Sunday. On Saturday morning, the public is invited to tour the Civil War camp and visit with re-enactors.
