Commodities Distribution
Commodity distribution is held at the Winfield Community Center once a month.
Pre-approval is required to participate in this program. For application
information or distribution dates, please call (205) 921-4224.
Alcoholics Anonymous
An AA meeting is held each Wednesday and Sunday night at Winfield Community Center at 7
p.m.
Marion County Health Department
A satellite office of the MCHD is no longer available at Winfield.
Boy Scouts
Boy Scout programs are offered in various age groups. Scout meetings and
activities are held throughout the year with most taking place at the Boy Scout
Hut at Ivan K. Hill Park. A partial list of activities includes the spring
camporee, Thanksgiving banquet, and fall camporee. For additional information,

Girl Scouts
Girl Scout programs are offered in various age groups. Scout meeting and
activities are held throughout the year with most taking place at the Girl Scout
Hut at Ivan K. Hill Park. A partial list of activities includes Thinking Day
and Girl Scout Camp, both held at Ivan
K. Hill Park. A Girl Scout cookie sale is held annually (January) as a fundraiser.
